Description: Forty-five flowers held on forty-five upright inflorescences to 10.5 cm held above pseudobulbs halfway up foliage; growing in fine bark on a 63.0-cm by 39.0-cm, clean plant in an 20.0-cm plastic pot; sepals and petals cupped, golden yellow, reverse lemon yellow; lip cream, medially suffused lemon yellow, side lobes spotted and striated maroon along veins, midlobe blushed lavender on margin proximally; column maroon; substance firm; texture matte; species from Brazil; pleasant fragrance noted.

Description: Nineteen flowers and one bud on two arching slightly pendulous inflorescences on a plant of six growths and nine leafless, 5.5-cm long by 3.0-cm diameter slightly compressed pseudobulbs, leaves dark green, up to 2.0 cm wide by 63.0 cm long, distinctly keeled, linear-elliptic, narrowly pointed tips, bases attached to green-yellow thickly veined overlapping sheaths encompassing pseudobulbs; up to 51.0 cm racemes originating basally, flowers arranged initially in small groupings with spacing between the groupings; sepals and petals green, lighter green medially blushed light orange-red basally, lateral sepals and petals spotted maroon on proximal half; lip white, yellow basally, side lobes veined burgundy becoming broken distally, margin overlaid light yellow, spotted burgundy, midlobe mid-vein maroon, blotched maroon along margin, brushed light yellow, keels white, midvein maroon, broken distally, blotched maroon along ridge, hirsute, margins ciliate; column white, blushed light yellow distally, spotted burgundy proximally becoming striations on ventral surface, dorsal surface overlaid burgundy apically, spotted burgundy medially, anther cap white; substance firm; texture crystalline; country of origin is not known; validation by SITF required; recognized for rarity and horticultural merit.
